The Power of Drawing Your Desires to You

When you've been through trauma - as we all have, you can end up with something called PTSD. This term can refer to a soldier who actually relives a past event as if it's happening in the present moment. For many of us, though, it could simply be a fear that what happened in the past could happen again in the future.
After my husband died, I feared others of my family dying too. I also feared I would get a relapse on my cancer and die myself. It may not be the classic definition of PTSD but does seem quite similar to me. The biggest problem with this is that any time we assume what happened in the past will happen in the future, we risk creating more of the same.
Koach HaMoshech - The Power of Drawing
In Hebrew we transliterate the guttural H sound with "ch". Koach HaMoshech is translated as the Power of Drawing. In the word Moshech, you'll see the name "Moshe" which is the Hebrew name of Moses - who was drawn out of the Nile. It is a power we can use to draw what we desire toward us - or what we fear. (Be careful what you wish for!)
I learned from one of my favorite Kabbalah teachers, Rav Doniel Katz that Rebbe Nachman had a wonderful explanation of what we call today, the "Law of Attraction". In fact, the Rebbe taught that it's a concept going all the way back to the Torah and the 10 Commandments, specifically the one, "Thou shalt not covet." Because if you do, it could be like stealing something that isn't yours. There is inherent within us a great Power - of drawing to us those things we "covet". In other words, we draw on the things we love, want and desire.
But as long as you aren't working on drawing something to you that isn't yours, it's kosher! Go ahead and draw all of your dreams to you! Absolutely. Hashem wants our best dreams to come true! And Hashem has that same dream for us, for our world - it's called, Geulah - the time to come that is a Utopia of sorts. This world should become a dwelling place for the most High! Ah-mein!!!
A Prayer is also a form of Koach HaMoshech!!! There is a very special Jewish tradition when you hear someone say that something good should happen - say emphatically, "AMEIN!"
So, please know that you are loved and supported and fully able to realize all of your highest dreams! My teacher Shifra Chana Hendrie told us about a fabulous tool for manifesting our highest aspirations and goals, called "Future pulling". She told us to write emails to each other congratulating our fellow student on accomplishing what she has been wanting to accomplish. We've had some truly incredible manifesting that's been going on for us with all of our future pulling !!!
So find a friend, write them a "future pulling" message! Have them write you one too!
Today is the 5th day of the new month of Adar - a month we are told increases our JOY. I did my Adar Layout and it's all about the power of drawing. I hope you can read my notes in this photo. Out of 49 cards, I pulled the exact cards that perfectly answered my questions. This layout can be done with any other type of question:
A Simple 3-Card Layout - Enjoy!
What blocks me,
what helps me,
what's the next step!
Let's all leave the past in the past this month and open to the future of our wildest dreams! Take actions that bring the future into the present. Hold to the future fulfillment of all of our wishes. Hashem only wants you to succeed.
Take good care,
Allison
